Components

Umoe Mandal designs and manufactures different composite material components for naval vessels, satisfying stringent performance and quality requirments. Examples of such products are:

• Lift fans & volutes for Surface Effect Ships and Hovercrafts
• Stealth gun shields (cupolas) for 76 mm and 57 mm guns
• Flush stealth hatches and louvers
• Mast structures

Products are taken from the conceptual design level, via manufacturing, through on-vessel testing by UM personnel, depending on customer requirements.
