Are Søreng’s career at Umoe Mandal AS spans for over 25 years. Prior to his current post as VP Sales & Marketing, Are has held several positions, including Head of Procurement, VP Services and VP Projects. His professional background also includes project management and procurement at Dovre International AS, Norsk Hydro, Kværner Installasjon AS and Oil Industrial Services (OIS).
Are’s academic background combines technical disciplines and ROTC training at the Royal Norwegian Navy. He has a particular interest and expertise within the fields of globalization, growth strategies, international negotiations, business development and leadership.
